"It's Always Bloody in Philadelphia"

Films: Alone in the Dark (1982)

Alias: Frank Hawkes, Byron "Preacher" Sutcliff, Ronald Ester, John "the Bleeder" Skagg (or Tom Smith)

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted home/Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: So, four serial killers get put in the same room. What do you think happens? Anything totally out of the ordinary? Most likely. A pileup of murders? Practically inevitable.

History: Somewhere in rural Philly, there is a psychiatric ward housing four of the worst killers around. There's the shell-shocked POW Frank, the pyromaniac Byron, the child-molesting Ronald, and the serial killer John. They don't have a whole lot in common, but they both know an opportunity when they see one. And this opportunity is a blackout that ensures their escape. They seem particularly focused on killing one of the doctors due to believing that he murdered an accomplice of theirs, but everyone is fair game now.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Ronald gets offed by a meat cleaver to the back (which then gets hammered in by a baseball bat), John is stabbed when his ruse as Tom is revealed, Byron gets stabbed even after being set on fire, and Frank leaves in defeat upon realizing that the man they were trying to avenge is alive and well.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional, and John gets a nosebleed every time he kills, hence his nickname.

Scariness Factor: 4-It's not just one killer, it's four killers coming at you all at once for a crime you didn't commit. And even if you have nothing to do with their plan, they will have your head for fun. With that said, Frank seemed to be the only one sincerely dedicated to avenging, and his reaction to the futility of it all is understandable.

Trivia: -This film is partially based off the writings of R.D. Laing, who claimed that most psychopaths were just people having a hard time in an already crazy world.

-Originally, the Mafia was going to be called in to fight back against the killers, but the budget of the film scrapped this idea.

Especially in prison.

You'll never look at Donald Plesence the same way again when you see what he does with that.
Don't sleep tonight. After all, they're on the prowl...

Truly, never was there a more neighborly face than this.
Worst peeping tom ever.

One of those days, guys. It's just another one of them.
